Here comes Summer!

Great news!!!!!!!! It is beautiful outside!  

• Remember to be taking pictures for the photo challenge.  This months verses are Psalm 50: 1-2 and/or Luke 6:21. 
  
• If you need a prayer partner let me know and we would love to get you connected with someone!
• 30 Hr. Famine is coming very soon!  Are you ready?? March 27-28 will be the Famine time this year @ the Church!!! Remember to raise money with the packets from upstairs.  Also if we reach 6,000 dollars by March 28 then the winning side will get to choose my (Keith's) hair style and color.  
• Remember on Thursday Nights we will be meeting from 7:30-9PM thru April to finish the book of Revelation.  All High Schoolers are welcome!

February Photo Challenge

Photo Challenge time for February..... I have chosen Matthew 6:19-21.  Storing up earthly treasures is pointless.  This tells us that everything will be useless or rot away if it is not from God.  So let this be a fun challenge and a task to take a picture that captures this scene!

I hope that if any of you are struggling because of the things life is throwing at you, you will feel blessed to know that Jesus wants to take your burdens.  Don't allow the devil any type of foothold in your life.  He loves to sneak his nasty habits and ways right under your nose.

Barclay Visit

So here is just information stuff....

Feb. 14 is babysitting volunteer night at the Church for Valentines Day.

Feb. 17 Shopping Cart Madness meet @ Dillon's @ 4Pm till 5Pm.

Photo Challenge update!

As I looked for a verse for the photo challenge I thought that it would be good to cover some virtuous , upright lifestyles. So I think the next one or two will cover this topic. Proverbs 21:8 in the NLT says "The guilty walk a crooked path; the innocent travel a straight road." Let me know if you need another verse!

Great Pictures

Revelation Study

We studied Chapter 3:1-6 tonight about Sardis.

The Church may think it is alive, other churches or people groups look at this church and say that it is alive, but the truth is that this church is dying.  

What the Church needs to see is that it is dying and need to wake up. 

The deeds of this church are not complete and it must continue to strive to do the will of God.

A few have not soiled themselves (dirty or other) and have been found clean.  The few who have withstood and stand with God, these are the ones that will receive the brilliant white garments and will be with God the Father in eternity.  

What an awesome image to see that God dresses us in white even though we are not deserving.  The picture of Jesus standing as our intercessor before God the Father explaining that although we are sinful and weak we are made whole, pure, holy and eternally cleansed.  How beautiful.  

God in His power works outside of time and can take every sin we commit now, before this moment and after and take it the the cross to where Jesus completely wipes it off our record IF we ask for God's forgiveness, believe in Christ. The cool thing though is that it is not just an agreement on paper it is now something that we should want to live out with our lives! What a Joy!
